On January 29, 2026, agents with the Metropolitan Narcotics Unit (METRO) arrested Angelina Delgado, Shaquille Anderson, Makalia Jackson, and Charish Kennedy on multiple drug trafficking–related charges following a months-long investigation.
Agents conducted a traffic stop and executed a search warrant on Delgado and her vehicle. Simultaneously, search warrants were served at Anderson’s residence on Ryde Avenue, where Jackson and Kennedy were located. Investigators seized 59 bottles of Farma pram (1,770 pills total), 39.2 grams of cocaine, 8 grams of alprazolam, 29.2 grams of oxycodone, 383.4 grams of marijuana, two digital scales, packaging materials, and $3,574 in U.S. currency.
All four defendants were arrested and booked into the San Joaquin County jail.
“This case reflects the dedication of our METRO agents and law enforcement partners who work tirelessly to disrupt drug trafficking networks,” said Ron Freitas, San Joaquin County District Attorney. “Their work sends a clear message that these crimes will be investigated thoroughly and prosecuted fully.”
Delgado was initially released on her own recognizance and signed a promise to appear in court for arraignment on February 13, 2026. Anderson, Jackson, and Kennedy were initially held pending arraignment. On February 3, 2026, Judge Soldati set bail for Anderson at $240,000 and imposed a Penal Code section 1275.1 hold, requiring a hearing to determine that any bail funds are not derived from drug trafficking before bail may be posted. Jackson and Kennedy were later released on their own recognizance with unlimited search conditions.
On February 13, 2026, Delgado was remanded into custody. Bail was set at $240,000, and the court issued a Penal Code section 1275.1 order requiring a hearing to verify that any bail funds are not derived from drug trafficking proceeds. Delgado is scheduled to return to court on February 18, 2026, for further arraignment.
