Post-Bar Clerkships
Available to all post-bar law students.
We are currently accepting applications for the 2026 Post Bar Law Clerk position (post-July 2026 bar exam). This is a paid, part-time, contract position (up to 40 hours weekly; no benefits included) that will start in August 2026 after the July bar examination and continue until December 2026. Applicants must apply on the San Joaquin County Human Resources website.
Student Law Clerk
Available to law students with 1 or more years completed of law school.
We are currently accepting applications for the 2026 Student Law Clerk position. This is a paid, part-time (up to 40 hours weekly; no benefits included), contract position that will start in Fall 2026 and beyond.

Volunteer Internships
Volunteer to work at the District Attorney's Office alongside our Deputy District Attorneys and Investigators! You will have the opportunity to observe and participate in the work involved in navigating the criminal justice system.
We are currently accepting Volunteer Internship applications for Fall 2026 and beyond from pre-law college students and those who are currently in law school.
