Parents Sentenced to 15 Years to Life for the Murder of 7-Year-Old Billie Williams

In Stockton, Billy Williams and Takiesha Williams were sentenced to 15 years to life in prison for the murder of their seven-year-old daughter, Billie Williams. The pair pled guilty to second-degree murder (PC 187) after a harrowing investigation revealed that they repeatedly abused Billie, inflicting fatal injuries over several months.

San Joaquin County District Attorney’s Office Secures Conviction in Stockton Murder Case

The San Joaquin County District Attorney’s Office and DA Ron Freitas, announce that Laonard Alexander, a 45-year-old Stockton resident, has been found guilty of first-degree murder in connection with the fatal shooting of Tyrique Harris outside Golden 1 Credit Union on Pacific Avenue. Alexander was also found guilty of a firearm enhancement under Penal Code 12022.53(d), which significantly increases his potential sentence.

The San Joaquin District Attorney's Office announced today that Alvaro Cruz Lopez has plead guilty to violating multiple sections of the Penal Code related to copper wire theft. Lopez admitted to violating Penal Code sections 487j (theft of copper wire), 12022.1 (committing a felony while on bail or O/R), 496 (possession of stolen property), and an aggravating factor 4.421(a)(9) (loss of great monetary value).
